Do you know the white and red flag from our Em‑eukal herbal drops? It is wrapped round the cough drop and its ends stick out of the sweet wrapper. This flag is our identifying feature. It stands for high quality, unique flavour and confidence in our brand. This is why we have also included it as a symbol on our Kids Em‑eukal products. At the top on the flap where you open the bag.
You may well ask why we introduced the flag. There's a great story to tell here. In the 1950s, doctors were prescribing the Em‑eukal herbal drops to the miners in the Ruhr area of Germany to help with their silicosis and bronchial complaints. The flag made it possible to unwrap the sweet hygienically despite having dirty hands. So it was of great practical benefit then. Today the flag, which is made of recyclable paper by the way, can be found on all our products as a seal of quality. On Kids Em‑eukal too – the taste of childhood.
