Felix!

Who is that actually?

Who actually is Felix?

The little boy beckons from the Kids Em‑eukal bags

A mischievous smile, brown hair, a green, red and yellow striped jumper, standing there and holding a skateboard – that's our Felix. At one time a little mascot, he is now firmly associated with our brand Kids Em‑eukal. He smiles and winks at you from every red bag and invites you to sample an exceptionally tasty treat. But how did Felix come about? And why is Felix called Felix?

The little Kids Em‑eukal boy was invented by Felix Soldan, the father of Perry Soldan, our current managing director. It was Felix Soldan who first developed the brand Kids Em‑eukal in 1972 and was responsible for bringing them and the illustration of a small boy onto the cough drop shelves of pharmacies. At the beginning our little mascot didn’t have a name. But it quickly became clear that we needed a name! So it was decided to conduct a major survey among children, adults and the employees in our company. And one idea stood out in particular. We called the little boy Felix in honour of the creator of Kids Em‑eukal.

Since then, Felix has been accompanying children and adults.
